It’s intermew time! I love intermews!! Yay!
This time I had the chance to chat with Henry from Big Kitty Designs. They are awesome! You can check out their stuff at:
Hazel: What advice do you have for bright young kittens considering your profession?
Henry: Go for it! The world can never have too much happiness, or too many sassy-talking kitties! Just don’t get ‘Lohan’d ‘ and end up in rehab, jones-ing for the nip, and becoming and embarrassment to your littermates.
Hazel: Who has been your biggest inspiration and why?
Henry: Ha! I bet you’re thinking it’s a kitty, but it’s not! I watch a lot of daytime TV as a hard-working house cat (why are you laughing?), and I would have to say, it’s a toss up between Ellen DeGeneres, and those Sleep Number bed commercials. Ellen’s got that happiness vibe I dig, and well, those bed commercials inspire me to nap. Who doesn’t love a good nap?
Hazel: What are some favorite books, movies, plays, and/or TV shows?
Henry: Hmm, my favorite book would have to be the photo album with all my kitten pictures. Seriously, I was a cute little fur ball. I’m a fun guy, so I love a good John Candy movie marathon. Don’t tell anyone, but I hide under the bed when “The Walking Dead” is on. =:P The thought of zombie cats, freaks me out! Never being able to sleep? That’s a kitty nightmare, for sure!
Hazel: How do you feel about the rise of feline power, and how do you see that power shaping the world in the future?
Henry: I’m all for it! As long as it does not interfere with my nap time. Does it mean more foil balls for me? I see a world filled with free tuna, and mandatory nap times!
Hazel: Who would you love to have dinner with? What would you eat and where?
Henry: Well there’s this cute little tiger-striped Tabby that’s been hanging around my yard. I would love to share a can of my private reserve Costco tuna with her. Hubba-hubba! But since I am forever and indoor kitty, and she is an outdoor kitty, I fear our paths will never cross. So my second choice would obviously be comedian Louie Anderson. We both love a good meal and a hearty laugh!
Hazel: What are some mistakes that have shaped your worldview or public platforms?
Henry: Well, I found out pretty quick, as a kitten, that I cannot fly from the second floor landing at grandma’s house. ::::::Shudder::::: 1 down, 8 to go…
Hazel: If you could say only one sentence to a potential new or existing follower, what would you like them to know?
Henry: Could they check me for dingle berries? Seriously, I never know what’s going on back there! Oh! You meant like, admirers? I guess I would tell them: Always look for the ‘funny’ in life, and never turn down a free belly rub!
Hazel: I love belly rubs too! And I love funny, funny is great 🙂 Thanks Henry!!
And thank YOU reader!
Have a great day!
