Caturday Intermew with Ragdoll Gracie!

Standard

Happy Caturday!! 😀

This week’s intermew will be with my pal, Gracie. She is a beautiful and brilliant Ragdoll kitty. You can like her on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/RagdollGracie.

Hazel: What advice do you have for bright kittens aspiring to follow in your pawsteps?

Gracie: Look at all ways that you can network, don’t rely on just one form of social media. Use Instagram, FB, Twitter, and networking with other pages. Your parents need to learn photography and use a good camera. Be patient and if you post on FB, try to only post a few posts a day so not to overwhelm news feeds. Be patient asking for others to share you, I would rather feel led to share a page because of something that they have done that is special, my mom does not like being overwhelmed by requests to share their page.

Hazel: That’s a great idea! Shares feel more satisfying when they’re earned. Who has been your biggest inspiration and why?

Gracie: The Magnificent 7 and their sweet mum Sasha. They have 7 beautiful cats and do not know how their mum manages to take such good care of them. Pixie is my BFF from the M7.

Hazel: They are cute! Who would you love to have dinner with? What would you eat and where?

Gracie: Pixie, if it was a cat, from the Magnificent 7, in London, I would eat whatever Pixie recommended. If it was a human, Jackson Galaxy, because I think he is a cool guy.

Hazel: I personally like the Indian food in London. See a show, get some chow. Good day! What are some favorite books, movies, plays, and/or TV shows?

Gracie: I am almost human, but do not read, but I do love the show, “Too Cute” and “My Cats from Hell” on Animal Planet.

Hazel: I enjoy those programs too, as well as “Breaking Bad” and “SpongeBob.” How do you feel about the rise of feline political power, and how do you see that power shaping the world in the future?

Gracie: I think the rise of feline power is very positive in a very negative world. I think it is great to have something that makes you smile and feel good about life. Life is too short, even though they say that I have 9 lives.

Hazel: That’s nice, I do enjoy being a cat. What are some mistakes that have shaped your worldview or political platforms?

Gracie: I am not sure if it is a mistake, but something I would never do again. Entering a contest based on votes instead of a qualified judging panel is insanity. Last year I came in 2nd place for the Modern Cat Contest Cover contest with over 50k in votes, it was a close race, but became a very negative thing for my family. The opposing cat team were very unkind to me because I was competing against a cat that needed awareness as disabled. Who were they to judge that I did not have my own story?

I am starting to become involved in legitimate Rescue groups, do your research before becoming involved. There are many cat funds that are not legitimate. There are many Rescue groups that are wonderful and they all work full time jobs and manage to still help others. I think it is a wonderful thing.

Hazel: True, numbers make fun things stressful, lo siento 😦 It’s nice to hear you are getting involved with helping our species! I know your time is precious, so just one more question:

If you could say only one thing to a potential new or existing follower, what would you like them to know?

Gracie: I would welcome them and tell them that all cats are beautiful. I am a purebred Ragdoll, but there are also many Rescue groups for Ragdolls. My best friend, Minnie, was rescued over a year ago and is like my own baby. Ragdolls are a different breed and very loving companions, there are still so many people who have not heard of the breed. I have a Notes section at the top of my page to help educate others about the breed.

Hazel: Ragdolls are so cute! When I am old enough to adopt a kitten, I would love a little Ragdoll to snuggle with. Thanks, Gracie! You rock!

And thank YOU reader! Hope you enjoyed!

Purrs,

Hazel
