Happy Valentine’s Day, Furriends!

And luckily for us, my furst ever Valentine’s Day falls on a Caturday! I am so happy and purry to share with you an intermew with my good buddy, Friendly!

Hazel: Happy Valentine’s Day, Friendly! Welcome to the Caturday Intermew Series by Hazel Fluffypants: Writer Kitty. Furst question, what advice do you have for bright young kittens aspiring to build a web presence?

Friendly: Be unique and from the heart. You can learn from others, but you have to be yourself. My mission is to spread kindness, love, and compassion. I want to make the world a better place for us all.

Hazel: Me too! Who has been your biggest inspurration and why?

Friendly: It’s hard to name just one individual. I admire those who have been through adversity, and come through it with a positive outlook on life.

Hazel: What do you like to read or watch?

Friendly: I love cat videos, especially the skateboarding cat from Australia. Otherwise, I love classical music, movies, plays, and operas.

Hazel: How do you feel about the rise of feline power, and how do you see that power shaping the world in the future?

Friendly: Feline power can be a positive force on the planet. We know what we want, and how to get it! We are compassionate, loving, adorable, yet mysterious creatures. The rest of the world should take an example from us.

Hazel: Who would you love to have dinner with? What would you eat and where?

Friendly: I would like to gather all the homeless kitties, doggies, and everyone, and have a big feast in a beautiful garden setting.

Hazel: What are some mistakes you’ve made and what did they teach you?

Friendly: Mistakes, well… let’s see……no, I’m a cat! I don’t make mistakes!

Hazel: You passed the Secret Cat Test! Last question, if you could say only one thing to a potential new or existing follower, what would you like them to know?

Friendly: Any act of kindness, no matter how big or small, makes a difference.

unnamed

Hazel: That’s a nice note to conclude on.

No matter where you are in the world, who you are with, or how you are spending today, Hazel Fluffypants loves you, and she’s very purry you’re here.

Happy Valentine’s!

Hazel

Caturday Intermew with Princess Foo Foo!

Happy Caturday, Furriends!

We have a royal guest today! Welcome Her Royal Majesty, Princess Foo Foo Victoria Anastasia Isabella Hobnobbery Vainglory the First of the Kingdom of “Purrsia” to this week’s edition of the Caturday Intermew Series!

Princess Foo Foo 3

Hazel: Hi Princess Foo Foo! Thanks for being here! What advice do you have for bright young kittens aspiring to build a web presence?

Princess Foo Foo: My royal advice to young kittens who aspire to build an online presence is to first, of course, procure the services of a professional human marketing team. Though humans are not the brightest bulbs in the chandelier, they do come in handy sometimes in terms of offering certain services that we felines require; for example: feeding us, cleaning out our litter boxes, pampering us and dealing with the hordes of fans we acquire online!

Hazel: And typing up meownuscripts!

Princess Foo Foo: Usually, humans are so far beneath us intellectually that we can actually convince them to do all these things for us free of charge by simply batting our eyelashes at them, purring, and tolerating their silliness.

Hazel: Who has been your biggest inspiration and why?

Princess Foo Foo: My biggest inspiration has been Princess Diana because she was “the people’s princess.” Even though she was beautiful, elegant, articulate and sophisticated, she still humbled herself to deal with the commoners. That’s what I try to do, of course!

Hazel: What do you like to read or watch?

Princess Foo Foo: My favorite literature includes Shakespeare’s Romeow and Juliet, Proust’s Remembrance of Things Scratched, and Fitzgerald’s The Great Catsby. The play I enjoy most is, of course, Tennessee Williams’ Cat on a Hot Tin Roof! As for films, I’m partial to Aristocats, Milo and Otis and That Darned Cat. The television programs I enjoy most are found on the Animal Planet network: Too Cute and My Cat from Hell. You forgot about music. I’m a big fan of Harry Chapin’s “Cats in the Cradle” and Tom Jones’ “What’s New Pussycat.”

Hazel: How do you feel about the rise of feline power, and how do you see that power shaping the world in the future?

Princess Foo Foo: The rise of feline power is inevitable and sorely needed in this world of increasing chaos. Frankly, being the Supreme Monarch of the Kingdom of Purrsia isn’t enough for me; I have a political platform and world domination is my goal. I wish to see catnip legalized, dive-bombing mockingbirds controlled, and Friskie’s “Party Mix” treats provided at no cost to kitties in need.

Hazel: Speaking of treats, who would you love to have dinner with? What would you eat and where?

Princess Foo Foo: I would enjoy having dinner with the two most handsome felines on earth: Sir Lucifur Fluffypants and Wilford Brimley, Persian Cat. In my romantic dreams, we would sip wine, feast on tuna and salmon, and purr softly beneath the moonlight on a secluded beach somewhere.

Hazel: That sounds nice! I wonder if Lucy is a distant cousin, hmm I have to check with Karen. What are some mistakes you’ve made and what did they teach you?

Princess Foo Foo: The worst mistake I made was knighting that scoundrel, Sir Charles of Brainerd! Sir Charles was a former traitor to the Kingdom of Purrsia who did not wish to see me emerge from exile in an animal shelter to return to my rightful place on the throne. I should have known he was trouble from the start, but being a trusting soul, I forgave him of his past disloyalty and knighted him only to find that he unleashed a vacuum beast from out of a secret chamber known as “the closet!” The beast roared through the palace, causing me to go into hiding beneath the royal bedchamber. I learned then not to trust that scoundrel, Sir Charles, any longer!

Hazel: Interesting, I think that’s the first kitty knighthood-regret I have heard! It has been an honor chatting with Your Highness, so to conclude: if you could say only one thing to a potential new or existing follower, what would you like them to know?

Princess Foo Foo: Here is my one word of advice to a potential new loyal subject or existing fan: When in my presence, please do not forget to bow or curtsy; otherwise, I may have to banish you from the kingdom. 🙂

Princess Foo Foo

Hazel: MOL thanks for the lovely intermew, Princess!

And thank YOU readers for reading!

A purry curtsy,

Hazel

Happy Caturday!!

Here is my intermew with Tigerstar!

Hazel: Hi Tigerstar! Welcome to this week’s edition of the Caturday Intermew Series. Thanks for being here! First question, what advice do you have for bright young kittens aspiring to build a web presence?

Tigerstar: Always be yourself. Mew don’t have to work hard to impress anyone…you’re a cat! It comes natural. Also, keep yourself well groomed because dem petparents will be following mew around with a camera like da paparazzi.

Hazel: Who has been your biggest inspiration and why?

Tigerstar: Mah biggest inspiration is Sugar the Cat. She has a facebook page (SugarRub) and even though she lives at da rainbow bridge, she still talks with us and reminds us that da pets can get breast cancer too. Her and her mom have taught other moms how to perfrom a sugar rub on us felines. This beez checking us for lumps and abnormalities that need to be mentioned to da vet dude.

Hazel: Oh I didn’t know that! Thanks for sharing, I’m sure our readers will appurrciate that. What do you like to read or watch?

Tigerstar: I luv all da scary movies and shows. Meez likes to act spooky when dem zombie shows are on TV…I bristle up mah fur and pounce on mah sister. It’s fun! Mah very favorite books are the “Warriors” series. It beez about a group of cats dat live in the wild and have to survive life out there. It beez an interesting read and makes meh feel grateful that I has a home!

Hazel: How do you feel about the rise of feline power, and how do you see that power shaping the world in the future?

Tigerstar: Feline power has been on the rise fur a long time now and I think we’re moving in da right direction. Don’t be surprised if da next president of the United States has fur and whiskers!

Hazel: I’m thinking about running for PKOTUS myself! We’ll talk about that though at the next Secret Cat Meeting. Who would you love to have dinner with? What would you eat and where?

Tigerstar: I would love to have dinner with mah sweetheart Felix. He beez mah tabby luv and da only gentlecat in mah 9 lives. We would eat anywhere that serves nip infused biscuits and cookies!

Hazel: What are some mistakes you’ve made and what did they teach you?

Tigerstar: Never EVER sneak outside when da mommy izn’t looking. Never let curiosity get da better of you and munch on unknown plants. Dem things can get mew in a lot of trouble and cause dem petparents to go into a frenzy! Always be cautious and well behaved.

Hazel: Sounds good, this has been fun, Tigerstar! If you could say only one thing to a potential new or existing follower, what would you like them to know?

Tigerstar: I am 10% beast and 90% angel!

Hazel: Haha and 100% cute! Thanks so much for the intermew.

And thank YOU reader for reading!!

Sandpaper kisses,

Hazel
