August Intermew Blitz with Sophia the Three Legged Kitty!

Day 6 of my August Intermew Blitz! Meet Sophia the Three Legged Kitty!

Just to be very sweet and sincere! Always be kind. Appreciate and love your fans!

Homer the blind cat! He was a very strong kitty that overcame being blind and lived a normal, happy life!! The momma also loved his book!

For books I’d say Homer’s Odyssey (I love Homer the Blind cat!!). I also love horror movies. I like to sit next to the momma and daddy and watch scary movies! As for TV, I watch whatever the momma likes, like the Walking Dead and Once Upon a Time!

I think the rise of [cat power] is great!! I think more kitties will get homes! Two of my sisters and I were strays at one point so hopefully the rise in power will make people want to adopt more!!

Dream Date?

Hmm… Maybe Tara the cat. Kitty food or chicken! Preferably at my house! I don’t like to leave my house.

Do NOT trust cars!! I trusted cars once and I lost my leggie! They are evil!!!! The momma keeps telling me that they aren’t all evil but I don’t believe her!

Hm…I would say just that I love all of my followers!!!! (Heart Symbol)

Thanks, Sophia!

August Intermew Blitz with The Adventures of Kaykay and Friends!

Day 2 of my August Intermew Blitz! Meet The Adventures of Kaykay and Friends!

My advice to new kitties trying to build an internet presence is, have fun! Post pictures, share stuff, talk to other kitties/pet pages! If you have fun on your page, it shows, and people like that 🙂

Us furry (and feathery) kids agree with Momma, who says Steve Irwin. Mom grew up admiring him, and even as an adult she adores him. He was a guy who seemed to really care about animals and respect them. He didn’t care about money, but wanted to show animals as they were. Not mean, or scary (like some shows portray lions and sharks and snakes etc.). More people need to respect and look at all animals, wild or not, like that!

Don’t get us started on books, shows, and movies! Momma says she hasn’t seen many plays, but wants to. We all LOVE Harry Potter, The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, and let’s not leave out ALL THINGS DISNEY! We are Disney fanatics. Also, very into scary or creepy stuff. Our shows are Grimm, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Supernatural…Ugh so many!

I think the rise in feline power is such a good thing. Cats, as pets, are looked at often as uncaring and selfish and grumpy. The amount of people showing that their furrkids are actually the opposite of the cat stereotype is so good. Maybe it will encourage more people to adopt kitties, and really crack down on pet abuse, seeing kitties as ‘man’s best friend’ as well.

Dream Date?

Mom is a dork and says Tom Hiddleston OR Benedict Cumberbatch, because she finds them so kind and interesting. Apparently Tom likes Chili’s (so does mom!) so that’s a good choice. For US, we say Franklin and the gang (da adventures of Franklin & Butters). Those are some pawsome kitties!

Pumpkin’s big mistake is not calculating her jumps well, and not making her jump. She needs to learn how to jump like me! Mom’s big mistake is not filling our bowl to the tippity top! Learn to fill the bowl MORE, Mommy!

If we could say anything to our followers, we would say love yourself, be bold, be proud of who you are, and spread kindness and happiness to every heart you touch! ❤

Thanks, Kitties!

Caturday Intermew with Lou the Shop Cat!

Happy Caturday, Furriends!

Today we have an intermew with Lou the Shop Cat!

Lou the Shop Cat 1

It’s also my Auntie’s birthday! Happy Birthday Rissa!

Hazel: Hi Lou! Thanks for being here! What advice do you have for bright young kittens aspiring to build a web presence?

Lou: Relax and have fun with it.  Many cats who begin to build a web presence get discouraged or give up because they see all these blogs with a huge following, and completely forget that gathering a large, devoted following doesn’t come overnight.   Many bloggers (cat or otherwise) completely forget that a big following takes awhile–sometimes years—to build.  It may be that your social media following builds before your blog (which is what happened with us).

Hazel: Me too!

Lou: Just keep building your web presence with paws-itive messages and lots of good clear pictures, and the blog followers will come.

Hazel: Who has been your biggest inspiration, and why?

Lou: It hasn’t been any one kitty or person.  Among those who have inspired and mentored me, though, have been Marjorie Dawson of Dash Kitten, and Herman Kozlowski’s Mom, Kim.   Maybe someday I will become a celebricat, like Waffles the cat.

Hazel: What are your favorite books, magazines, plays and TV shows?

Lou: Well, my favorite books are all magazines.  I am quite partial to Real Simple and Oprah, because that means I can settle in for a long and delightfully crinkly snuggle session with my Human Mom while she reads.  As far as plays go, my favorite is CATS because that TS Eliot guy really ‘gets’ us felines.  Last but not least, my favorite TV shows are WWE wrestling or The Walking Dead, because that is when I settle into my Human Dads’ lap.

Hazel: Haha I love how you totally shift gears for TV. Simple Oprah and then zombie wrestling, hmm…<^-^> How do you feel about the rise of feline power, and how do you see that  power shaping the world in the future?

Lou: I love that we felines are becoming more visible and powerful in the world.  I think that this will result in an explosion of more feline luxury products to solve all sorts of first world kitty problems and satisfy every kitty desire.  I also predict more veterinary advances so that we might live comfortable lives with our Humans, for far longer than ever before.

Hazel: Speaking of luxury dinners with celebricats and -ties, who would you love to have dinner with?  What would you eat, and where?

Lou: Hrm..well..I would like to meet Kim and Herman, and Marjorie and Harvey, and..and..all of my other kitty blogger friends I have met over time.   If I had my way, we would all get together and eat steak at Ruths’ Chris steakhouse.  Someday!

Hazel: What are some mistakes you’ve made and what did they teach you?

Lou: 1. I should have gotten into blogging much, much sooner.  This is fun!  I have learned I should not have ignored my instincts. 2. I should pose more often so my Humans can take more pictures to post on blog posts.

Hazel: I am glad you are here, Lou! You are a very cute kitty and I enjoy hearing from you! To conclude the intermew, as always, if you could only say one thing to a potential new or or existing follower, what would you like them to know?

Lou: I’d like them to know just how much I enjoy chatting with them, and how much I hope I have made their days better.

Hazel: You made my day better, thanks Lou!

Lou: Thank you again for intermewing me!

Lou, the Shop Cat

And thank YOU readers for reading!

A cordial purr,
